It's a no.

Mr Lim, it's a no because you've ditched me and this isn't the first time. I ish very emo. You shall wait for the day my sweet vengeance will come!

Muhibbah Restaurant @ Kg. Sg. Penchala

After a 4 hours of fun in Mindspot, the gang and I went to Muhibbah restaurant which was located at the same row as TDH (Tom, Dick and Harry) but however, they have shifted to Kg. Sg. Penchala early this month. The gang, dying for Muhibbah, went to the new shop, which is quite near if going from TTDI.Muhibbah is a seafood restaurant that is run by a Chinese-Muslim and it's Halal. However, it was my first time dining at Muhibbah and I'd say the food is not bad. The dishes are actually very Chinese style but knowing the typical Chinese style, it is very heavy in taste, with a lot of oil, sugar, salt and whatnots. I'd say that Muhibbah serves Chinese food in a healthier cooking style, at least not as heavy taste as typical Chinese cookings.

After you have placed your order, peanuts will be served as snacks or appetizer. The hungry gang ordered a lot of dishes;

Fried rice for 6 pax

Fried 'Kai Lan' with salted fish. I loved this dish because the 'kai lan' is not bitter and it does not have the salted fish smell that I hate! This dish is well cooked than many others Chinese stalls out there!

You should know how typical Chinese love to boil their soup by using pork bones to make the soup have very sweet and strong flavoring. Without using pork bones to boil the soup, this Salted Vege Bean Curd Soup has something different to offer. Pork is replaced by fresh seafood such as small prawns and squids, not too salty but you can still taste a little bit of sweetness in the soup, followed by the smell of salted vege.

I think this is chicken with ginger and spring onion. Tasted okay, but I didn't like it much because it is using chicken breast/fillet. The meat is soft and boneless, suitable for lazy people like me but bear in mind that chicken breast/fillet is tasteless and they does not absorb the gravy well.

I seriously can't remember the name of the dishes because my friend ordered them but let's call this dish Bean curd with vegetables. Loved this dish, loved their still-intact bean curd and not-so-starchy gravy!

Deep fried squid. What can I say? Epic dish! Loved their special dipping also. It's soury, like some assam dipping and it's not sweet! Perfect dipping to get rid of the oiliness of deep fry.

The whole dinner is satisfying for me but it isn't the best I've had. One major drawback is that the new location is full of huge mosquitoes. I killed one and the bf killed 4, but the whole table, especially me was constantly shaking my legs throughout the entire dinner. I might consider visiting again but I wouldn't think I'd crave for it because being a typical Chinese, I like food that is heavier in taste than Muhibbah.

Giant Boardgames - FnD Mindspot

Purchase my vouchers from Groupsmore, again. Visited FnD Mindspot on Saturday with the bf's gang and had our fair share of fun there. FnD Mindspot is up and running their business for a few months now and in fact, it will be their first year during March or April if my memory does not fail on me. The shop is located in TTDI, Jalan Aminuddin Baki, Restaurant OK or opposite of Maybank/Little Penang Village and further up, close to the school compound. FnD Mindspot have very cozy ambiance, and it's a perfect place for lepak-ing or for some quality time with family and friends. There's a smoking zone outside which is perfect for smokers, and while you smoke you can either play darts or Foosball as well. Mindspot carries a lot of giant board games, but however we only got our hands on very few of them. Not to forget, they carry a lot of boardgames as well, just to name a few that I remember; Risk, Cluedo, Life, Taboo, Monopoly, Acquired, Cash Flow 101 and etc.

Giant Chess

Medium-size Jenga

Giant-size Jenga!

Foosball and darts

Cozy ambiance

Too much of boardgames and you're getting bored already? Don't worry! There's books for you to relax your mind a little.

Planning to have a family day there or being forced to take care of the young ones? Just bring everyone along because Mindspot have different space allocated for all age groups!

And for the smokers!

Overall, mindspots is a very cozy place to have quality time with friends and family. They do offer different packages, for instance, 1 hour play time with 4 complementary drinks for RM30, or 2 hours of play time with 4 complementary drinks for RM50 or RM70 for 3 hours and above and comes with 4 complementary drinks. 1 table only allows 1 board game, and it is really depend on how many people is playing the game. The mastermind mentioned that it is fine to bring friends who are not into board games but wants to chill there too, because then they can play foosball darts jengas and whatnots.

Robot Sushi, Sunway Pyramid

This was supposed to be up last month but due to my long hiatus, so here it is. Thanks to Groupsmore, I came across a lot of nice deals. So Robot Sushi was one of it. I got to purchase rm50 worth of voucher with only rm25. So the bf and I went to try out Robot Sushi, which I would say it's a replacement of Sushi Groove last time. Robot sushi's ambiance is very different from any other sushi shops. It's a very chilling ambiance where you can sit there for a long time to chat with your friends, and it has a DJ set which they will have house DJ on certain days and they do spin house music and also R&B. With great music, companion of a good drink is a must. Robot sushi have a bar and I think they do serve alcohol. Saw their promotion with beer or something. For every night there's a theme, and Wednesday is of course Ladies' night. It's definitely a great place to unwind after a long day of work with a cup of drinks and good food.

Their sushi style is very fusion-like, but nonetheless their ingredients were really fresh. We ordered mini california maki and the bf loved their ebiko(small fish roe) because the ebiko gave him the balloon-popping feeling in his mouth and he was very happy with it. Other than that, we also tried beef roll stuffed with mozzarella cheese. The beef roll was nicely cook, not too hard but I'd say it's a little disappointment because half of the beef roll were not stuffed with mozzarella cheese and half of it was stuffed. I know it'd be too much to eat all 6 rolls with stuffed cheese but still having thick empty beef rolls with nothing was odd to me. I'd rather they stuff some vegetables inside as replacement of cheese. There another fusion sushi which I forgotten what it is, it's supposed to be a combination of beef and chicken I think. I didn't know what I was eating and it tasted weird that my rubbish-bin bf had to go with the sauce, knowing that he's not really that picky about food. We also ordered a beef rice set, and I'd say I loved their rice set the most. All of their fusion sushis are on a salty side, which I do not know why, even the mini california maki is on a very salty side. The beef, is just well done and still very juicy.

Picture time!

Fusion sushi - with combination of beef and chicken

Overall, I wouldn't mind paying a visit to Robot sushi again as the ingredient is really fresh and they cook the beef very very well, but I'd not want to try funny funny sushis again.

Sentul park Koi Center

Due to some reason, yesterday afternoon I paid a visit to Sentul Park Koi Center with the bf and his mother. Of course the purpose to go there is to get some koi fish, but lived in KL for so long and Sentul park is kind of near to my place, I must say that I have not enter Sentul Park before, and also I have no idea of the Koi Center there. The Kois there are healthy and beautiful I must say. Not too much of a fish-lover (the rearing type)myself, but those Kois are really huge and beautiful. Those extreme huge ones was as long as half of my arm, and their size is twice of my arm, consist of beautiful red, pure gold, black, or a mixture of blue, red and white. I loved those with a mixture of color. And the fishes there are active and healthy as a horse?Fish? Whichever it is, I was lighted up once I saw a few of them surfaced and playing with their mouth as if they were eating, it's like they were train to say hello to you!

Here are some pictures from my lousy iPhone. Enjoy!

Beaubelle Spa @ Starhill

I came across this deal through Groupsmore, a website where I get to purchase a lot of nice deals with huge discount. Been dreading for a nice rejuvenating massage for a long time, so I did not hesitate to purchase this deal, for both me and the fatty bf. I must mention that Beaubelle staffs are very nice and friendly. The vouchers were supposed to expired on 15th of Dec 2010 but they were willing enough to extend it for us until today, partly also due to their overwhelming package with Groupsmore.

The experience in Beaubelle was awesome. First, as usual, we entered a separate room. It was a very deem room, equipped with a sink, a heated bed and a cupboard for you to put your clothes and belongings. I was instructed to remove everything and they even provided disposable underwear. However, due to my 'monthly explusion', I remained in my own grandma undie. I had my foot bath first while the masseur massaged my shoulder for a bit to see/test how stiff my shoulders are and to see how much strength I could take. I loved their fragrant massage oil/lotion because it was not sticky at all. The oil was thoroughly massaged and absorbed into my ever drying skin. Follow by back massage, from legs to shoulder and my tummy part was skipped due to my 'monthly expulsion', again. But I can tell you, the massage wasn't ticklish at all, then followed by the front. After done with the body massage, I had my facial. It wasn't the typical facial where they will squeeze whatever dirts out from your face. It was a facial where they clean your face with cleansing milk (i think it was) and then followed by some citrus or limey or something that's minty. And they massage your face and neck very gently, also with some strong finger moves to alleviate your facial skin. The entire facial I only know she keep putting things on my face and keep massaging it because it was so comfortable that I was actually half asleep.

However, I must rant that the bf had better treatment than me. He had an older lady who massaged him, which it claim should be better than mine and the lady who did his facial, explained to him what she was putting on his face. But my facial lady did not explain to me at all -_- so unfair!!

Nonetheless, I must say that I truly enjoyed this rejuvenating massage. It helped the both of us a lot to shed off some stress off our very stiff shoulders. It's so rejuvenating and relaxing to the extend that both of us were feeling hungry and sleepy after the massage. Epic?

Their package isn't that costly too given their shop is located in Starhill. The package we were eyeing on was 90mins hot stone rejuvenating massage for 5times = rm600, which is equivalent to rm120 for 90mins, and the deal is transferable to any of your friends or family member, provided the one who purchased the deal must make reservation for them. It's a perfect way to pamper any of your family members or friends!

Happy 2011!

It's a new year again in a blink of eye. I've stop blogging too for a year now. Something nasty happened almost 2 years ago and it changed my life since then. But nonetheless, I'm a stronger and better person now.

Happy new year everyone! I'm back in action and please do wait for more! My next entry will be about Facial & massage!
